ACE Lab Interns

Katie Olsen is a P4 student at The University of South Carolina Colleg of  Pharmacy.  She is from Sumter, SC and recently obtained her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of South Carolina. While completing her PharmD, Katie is enrolled in both the Pre-Residency Track and the Business and Entrepreneurship Track. This year, she is serving as a Community Service Co-Chair in Kappa Epsilon and is a member of Rho Chi and NCPA. Katie has additional interests in internal medicine and cardiology, and in her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, Salty, hanging out with friends, and painting.

 

Jackie Altman is a P3 student who has obtained her undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing her Pharm.D. at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. This academic year, Jackie is serving as VP of Service for Kappa Epsilon, Geriatric’s Chair for the Student National Pharmacy Association, and is a member of our Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International chapter. She is interested in compounding (sterile and non-sterile) and nuclear pharmacy. Jackie also enjoys traveling and do arts & crafts in her free time.

 

Kendyl Huber is a P3 student who graduated with her bachelor's degree in Finance from the Darla Moore School of Business in 2016. She is currently pursuing a dual Pharm.D./MHIT degree. She is the president of USCCOP's chapter of the National Community Pharmacy Association and also serves at the national level on the Student Leadership Council. She is a Medication History Intern at Prisma Health and a Pharmacy Intern at the Center for Health and Well-Being at USC. She looks forward to serving her community well upon graduation in 2021!

 

Lauren Moran obtained her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing her PharmD at the USC College of Pharmacy. This academic year Lauren is a P3 student, serving as the president of our Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, and Special Projects Co-Chair for our chapter of Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Lauren appreciates all of the different fields within the profession of Pharmacy, but currently has a special interest in Critical Care, Cardiology, and Sterile Compounding. Outside of pharmacy, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends, playing soccer, and serving as a Mentor for the middle school and high school students that attend Student Groups.

 

Nikitha Sashi is a 3rd Year Professional Student at the University of South Carolina of Pharmacy. She completed her pre pharmacy requisites at the University of South Carolina. She is currently enrolled in the Pre-Residency Track and hopes to go on to pursue a residency after graduation. This year she is a member of the American Clinical College of Pharmacy and the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group. Nikitha is currently doing research in the field of oncology and hopes to be able to continue with that interest. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, dancing, and painting.
