Wesley McAlhany obtained his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing his Pharm.D. at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. This academic year, Wesley is a P3 student, a member of the Pharmacy Student Government Association, and is the president of our CPFI - Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International chapter. While pharmacy covers a vast number of diseases and illnesses, Wesley has a special interest in cardiology. Apart from pharmacy, Wesley loves shooting hoops with friends and playing intramural softball at USC.

 

 

Katie Olsen is a rising P3 student at The Univeristy of South Carolina Colleg of  Pharmacy.  She is from Sumter, SC and recently obtained her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of South Carolina. While completing her PharmD, Katie is enrolled in both the Pre-Residency Track and the Business and Entrepreneurship Track. This year, she is serving as a Community Service Co-Chair in Kappa Epsilon and is a member of Rho Chi and NCPA. Katie has additional interests in internal medicine and cardiology, and in her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, Salty, hanging out with friends, and painting.

 

 

Tej Patel is a 3rd Year Professional Student at The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. He started his path at The University of South Carolina where he graduated with a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Tej has two siblings who attended the University of South Carolina Colleg of Pharmacy and he decided to make it a Trifecta during his high school career. Tej’s father loved helping the community and as a result, Tej wants to do the same in the healthcaresetting. Tej aspires to be a pharmacy owner in years to come, providing him an opportunity to further care for those in the community. Tej is currently the Treasurer of two USC COP pharmacy chapters, The American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists and The National Community Pharmacists Association. In his free time, Tej loves to watch sports and cheer on the Gamecocks.

 

Amee Shah obtained her undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing her Pharm.D. at The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. This academic year, Amee is a P3 student, Service Chair for NCPA, and the Pharmacy Liaison for our Institute for Healthcare Improvement Chapter at U of SC. She is interested in compounding (both Sterile and Non-Sterile), as it consists of caring for patients with a vast range of disease states – from neonates with nutritional deficiencies to senior veterans with ALS. Apart from pharmacy, Amee loves to paint and play the piano.
