Patricia Fabel, PharmD, BCPS
SC College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program Director

Patricia Fabel serves as the SC College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program Director. She received her PharmD from the University of Rhode Island and completed a community pharmacy practice residency at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy. She has written book chapters on vaccines, GI disorders, and managing insect bites and stings. Her research interests involve conducting MTM in community pharmacy settings and preparing pharmacy students for MTM services. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in the Clinical Pharmacy and Outcomes Sciences Department.

Madelon Kneece, PharmD
Community Pharmacy Resident

Madelon Kneece is the PGY2 Community Resident at Premise Health-BMW in Greer, South Carolina. She is originally from Columbia, SC and earned her PharmD from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Her interest and passion for providing quality patient care is mainly focused on diabetes management, disease prevention, and implementing innovative pharmacy practices. Outside of residency, Madelon loves to spend time with friends and family, visit Lake Murray as often as possible, cheer on the Gamecocks, and play with her dog, Scout.

Abby Will is the PGY1 Community Resident at Premise Health- BMW in Greer, South Carolina.  Abby is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she grew up and attended Duquesne University’s School of Pharmacy.  She enjoys watching Pittsburgh sporting events, walking her dog, and spending time on the lake.  She is looking forward to the beautiful weather that South Carolina has to offer!

Katie Anderson is the PGY1 Community Resident at Medicine Mart Pharmacy in West Columbia, South Carolina. Katie studied biology and music at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC before pursing her PharmD at Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy. She would be happy to explain what a Blue Hose is. She is passionate about immunizations and chronic disease management of asthma, COPD, and diabetes. Whether it’s a road trip sing-a-long, concert, or Broadway show, Katie loves music. Visiting all 50 states is at the top of her bucket list (just 30 more to go!).

Sonam Sager is the PGY1 Community Resident at Premise Health- Disney in Orlando, Florida. Sonam received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with minors in Health Science and Molecular and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, Sonam was an active member of FSHP, Kappa Epsilon and APhA-ASP. Sonam’s future practice interest include operations and clinical pharmacy management, ambulatory pharmacy practice management, and leadership development. Upon completing her 24-month post-graduate residency training, Sonam plans to purse board certification in pharmacotherapy and a gain a leadership position in health administration that allows for collaborative practice with other health care providers to provide optimal patient care."

Phil Gardner is the PGY1 Community Pharmacy Resident at Hawthorne Pharmacy in Columbia, SC. Originally from Maiden, NC, Phil received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked as a newspaper sports reporter before embarking upon his pharmacy career. He earned his PharmD in May 2019 from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, where he was heavily involved with the student chapter of National Community Pharmacists Association as well as the Senior Legacy Committee and American Pharmacists Association. His professional interests include diabetes education and community pharmacy innovation. Outside of work, Phil enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends and family, and staying physically active with basketball, biking and running.
